Name of the program - Health and Nutrition Initiative, Scope of the program - Bikaner, Financial support - Ashoka Innovators Project started August 2017Pariyaje Na Parichay: Urmalu Trust, Bikaner is conducting this program since August 2017 in collaboration with Ashoka Innovators, under the process of improving the nutrition level of children in State Model Schools of Bikaner district. Under this programme, the children of selected schools of the district are checked for haemoglobin, weight, length, arm circumference etc. and the data is updated in the Nutrition Schools software provided by Ashoka Innovators.Project Objective: Improving the situation by checking the nutrition level of children in schools. To find out the level of education, nutritional status, diet and health of girl students. And getting information about Midday Meal Scheme in schools. To get information about the food habits of the children. To create awareness about food and health in children.
