The organization is running this program in 20 villages of block Kolayat of Bikaner district since April 2016 and in 16 villages of Nagaur district since April 2018.Program Objectives: Preparation and development of model form. Motivating people for rainwater conservation and solar grid. To train 550 farmers for sustainable and organic farming. Getting farmers to visit for practical information about organic and sustainable farming.And after training, train the farmers in organic farming practices on the farm. And to encourage the farmers to organic farming by preparing them mentally for organic farming.Details of the cluster being worked: The program is being operated by dividing a total of 36 villages of Kolayat Nagaur district of Bikaner district into 5 clusters.Details of works done under the project:Meeting with farmers at Kisan Club Seed Store:Inspired by the information received by the farmers from various types of training and visits in the project-run area and due to the geographical structure of Rajasthan, the distance from one place to another is more, in such complex and fragmented villages, seed banks will be established with the help of Oracle. was constructed. Each farmer has contributed Rs.1000/- as his share amount to prepare the seed bank, along with this, Urmul has contributed Rs.1000/- per farmer under the project for an improved variety of Guar. And prepared its seed bank by purchasing groundnut seeds. After a one-day meeting with the farmers for the seeds prepared in the seed bank, their prices were fixed and it was decided that our farmers would be able to get the seeds from the bank at a lower price than the market and future planning was prepared.Solar Energy-Cleanliness of the Environment:A solar power grid has been established in Urmul Sanstha, Bajju with the objective of maintaining the cleanliness and purity of the environment and using natural resources and encouraging the farmers. There is almost no pollution from solar energy and the energy obtained from it can also be conserved. India lives in villages for most of the year, while at present electricity is not available in more than half of the villages. In such a situation, by adopting solar energy, in the field of energy conservation, its renewal and environmental protection can be done.The following advantages are being obtained through solar energy. Arrangements for their fodder, Ajola and green fodder are being made on the Urmul farm. Milk is being obtained from 4 cows in the dairy and along with this, the work of collection of cow urine, cow dung and manure is being done. Simultaneously, products related to milk-ghee, buttermilk, and curd are being made. From all this, the monthly income from dairy is about Rs.43,500/- and the monthly expenditure of dairy operation is about Rs.25,500/-. In this way, about Rs. 18,000/- is being earned every month from the dairy.Increase in capacity of compost unit: The work of making vermicompost from cow dung obtained from animals is being done for the last two years. In order to increase this work, a sand cistern 1⁄4 manure filtering machine 1⁄2 has been installed. This machine works in both manual and electric modes and at the same time, the catechumens are automatically separated in it.Organic Fertilizer Unit: A unit has been set up near Gai Chhapre in the Urmul complex, Bajju with the objective of making organic fertilizers for the farmers of the Urmul farmhouse and area. In this unit, the work of making Jeevamrit and making organic fertilizers has been started and at the same time, it is being practically demonstrated to the farmers in the form of a demo.Azolla Peat: 53 peats of Azolla have been prepared as supplementary feed for animal husbandry in the fields and homes of small marginal women farmers of the Nagaur area. Small and big animals are being given 200 grams to 1.00 kg of Azolla daily from these peats. Due to this, the quantity of vitamins, minerals, zinc, calcium and iron is being balanced in animals.Augmentation of dump irrigation facilities: At present, a dump irrigation system has been installed in 4 bigha area in Urmalu farm and also work is being done to install 1000 meter laser spray pipe for the purpose of developing 3 bigha area in south direction. . Due to which the production of green vegetables and animal fodder can be done easily even in the unusable land of 3 bigha area.Model Form:A model agricultural farm was prepared and developed by the organization on the premises located at Urmul's Bajju. The work of crops and organic farming is being done on this farm to motivate and encourage the farmers of the area so that the farmers of the area can move towards organic farming by seeing this model agriculture farm. The main objective of this model farm is to encourage the farmers of the area so that by learning from this farm, the farmers of the area can develop their thinking and understanding to take organic fertilizer crops on their fields with less rainfall and also be aware of the health hazards caused by chemicals and fertilisers. At present, green vegetables have been grown along with fruit plants in organic fertilizer farming in the model farm.Development of green fodder management for cows in summer and winter seasons: In order to promote dairy development and encourage farmers in the premises located at Urmul's Bajju, the organization has developed summer fodder as a model for providing green fodder to cows throughout the year. The work of production of Bajri Rizka in season and Barsim and Joi in winter season is being done in 2 bighas of land.Green fodder cutting machine installed: In order to make green fodder available to the animals throughout the year, green fodder is being planted according to the season on the vacant land between the plants in the agriculture demo farm in Urmalu Frontier Committee Complex, Bajju. A cutting machine has been installed for the purpose of systematic cutting of this green fodder.Organization of training for farmers: Sustainable and organic farming and food processing work with the technical support of Desert Resources Center 1⁄4Ker, Sangri, Kachari, Guarfali, Tindsi, Kumatiya etc. A total of 322 women and men farmers of the project area 1⁄4 Nagaur and Bajju 1⁄2 have been trained for the purpose of giving.Meeting with farmers at Kisan Club Beej Bhandar: The seed bank was created inspired by the various types of training received by the farmers and the information received from the visit. Each farmer has contributed Rs.1000/- as his share amount to prepare the seed bank.Promotion of Entrepreneurship Development: In the month of March 2019, 3-day training was provided to 72 aware farmers of the Nagaur and Bajju areas of the project area with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurial development by reference persons with special qualifications. In this training, detailed information was given about the collection and processing of dry vegetables-Kair, Sangri, Kumtiya, Kachari, Tindsi, Bair, Gunda etc. After this training, the farmers have started work in their respective areas on an experimental basis and a plan for further expansion is being prepared.Solar water heater installed: After imparting food processing training to the farmers of the project area, this work was started by the farmers of the Nagaur and Bajju areas. In the food processing work, the work of collection of care was done by the local farmers in the season of care, for the purpose of processing, a solar heater of 500 litres capacity was installed in Nagaur, due to which the easy evaporation of care and other ingredients, as well as solar energy. In this meeting, the introduction and present status of the Camel Milk Program was presented by Sahejeevan. With this Dr., The use of camel milk as a medicine and its benefits were explained through a presentation by R.P.Agarwal, Principal, Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner. Twelve people including officers of the National Research Center on Camel, Bikaner participated in this meeting.Second meeting:On July 13, 2018, a meeting was organized by Sahjeevan with office bearers and workers of the Urmul Tunst family's organizations, Urmulu Setu Sansthan, Lunkaransar, and Urmul Frontier Committee, Bajju.
