Scope of the project - Osiya, Jodhpur II - Sahyog Save the Children, the project started in 2018Under the Shaadi: Bacho Ka Khel Nahi project, with the aim of educational, life skill development and empowerment of girls, Urmul Tunst and Save the Children, under an effort to develop understanding through awareness among girls and the public, towards stopping child marriage It is jointly operated byProject Objective: To promote girl education in society. To give the girls deprived of education the right to enter the class according to their age. And to make school management committees accountable for girl child education. Creating a strong understanding of the subjects and gender to be taught to the girl child. Motivating parents for higher education and giving information about plans for girls. And to increase the confidence of girls to take decisions about their future. To create an environment for providing equal opportunities to girls without any discrimination. To make girls aware of child marriage. The youth should be able to decide when and under what circumstances they should marry.The details of the activities organized under the project are as follows: Organizing fortnightly meetings with the leaders of adolescent groups:Fortnightly meetings are organized with the leaders of the adolescent groups formed under the project.Lalita Babu Life Skill Development & Education:Lalita Babu Jeevan Kaushal Vikas Eva Shiksha session was organized for the adolescent girls of the project-run area for life skill development and education.Organization of sexual reproduction and health rights sessions:Sexual reproduction and health rights sessions were organized by the discussion leaders during the reporting period.Organization of monthly meetings of adolescent groups:Regular monthly meetings of adolescent groups formed under the project are organized.Information about sexual reproductive and health rights:Under the project information dissemination center was visited by adolescent girls to provide information and counselling on the issue of sexual reproduction and health rights, referral system, RTI/STI and increase their knowledge through the information dissemination center.Various Activities Organized with Adolescent Girls: A wide range of innovative and interesting activities were created during the reporting period with different activities for adolescent girls, especially girls, to promote their participation and expression of their talents and dreams. Was. Like: National Girl Child Day etc. 1760 adolescent girls, teachers and project team members participated in these activities. These activities were witnessed by around 1200 people from the public community.Sports, Speeches and Street Plays: Sports, public speaking, art and craft programs Street Plays etc. were organized to enable the adolescent girls to utilize their life skill development potential. In these activities, 5772 teenagers took an active part.School Management Committee: Efforts were made to make the School Management Committee active by participating the members of the project team in the School Management Committee formed in the schools.Strengthening Parent-Teacher Meetings: Through the existing Vidyalaya Management Committee regular parent-teacher meetings were attended to make them sensitive and dynamic.Financial Literacy Training Organized: A 3-day non-residential financial literacy training was organized.Organization of Financial Literacy Tour: Under Financial Literacy, these girls were given information about how financial management is done by taking them on a tour of banks and financial institutions.Training organized for employees on Financial Literacy Module:3 days of residential training for project staff was organized from 11-13 September 2018 at Jaipur. 26 divisions including external trainers participated in this training. 17 men and 09 women were included.Strengthening of Child Protection Committees and Village Health, Sanitation and Nutrition Committees:Members of 104 Village Level Child Protection Committees, 05 Gram Panchayat Child Protection Committee and 01 Village Health, Sanitation and Nutrition Committee participated in the meetings in project-operated villages. During this, the members discussed how the community can take advantage of social security schemes along with enlisting vulnerable children for the VLPCC scheme.Training on Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights and Child Marriage: A 2-day training was organized in Jodhpur for capacity building of the child protection committee and village health, sanitation and nutrition committee members, planning and information about their role as per state policy.Creation of Child Protection and Health, Hygiene and Nutrition Plan: Under the Child Protection Rights Act, the child protection committee was formed at the village level and the members of the Health, Hygiene and Nutrition Committee identified vulnerable children at the village level Based on the survey, they developed annual plans for ensuring the rights of children through 27 VLCPCs.The illusion of Teen Friendly Center: 97 adolescent girls visited the Information Dissemination Center for awareness about adolescent friendly sexual reproduction and health services, along with checking the haemoglobin of girls and women as well as measuring the weight of children, sexual reproduction And information about health was given.Workshop organized: Sensitization workshop of adolescent groups was organized in child marriage, gender discrimination, girl child education, perception towards school and creating gender equality.Organizing a meeting with MLA:Participation Details - Total 253On December 26, 2018, along with Osiya MLA Ms. Divya Maderna, efforts should be made to sensitize legislators about child marriage and sexual reproduction and health rights, and by keeping these issues at the state government level and local administration level, efforts should be made to provide benefits to the girls so that The issues of girls and women can also be handled with full sensitivity and seriousness with importance at the state government and administration level. The MLA assured to give priority to the issues of girls and women.Orientation of Panchayati Raj members:Through information on child marriage and issues related to girls and women, a one-day orientation program was organized for public representatives of 05 Gram Panchayats to develop an understanding and implement these issues with priority in Panchayati Raj. 19 public representatives participated in this orientation.Awareness and Support Campaign:A campaign was launched to spread awareness and help on child marriage, sexual reproduction and health rights and girl child education. Under this campaign, there was the active participation of 100 boys and 48 girls from 03 villages of Jodhpur. During this, to create an enabling environment for girls, a quiz was also organized with 74 men in Bathwasia and Ausia regarding sexual reproduction and health rights.Confusion of Law Enforcement Institutions:In the month of March 2019, in the project-run area, teenagers were taken on a tour of Osiya's police station.
