Scope of the Project-Sriganganagar, Financial Assistance, April 2015In order to prevent the increasing cases of women's harassment in the state and to make women aware of their rights, women's safety and counselling centres are being run by the Rajasthan government with the help of voluntary organizations. Under this, the Women's Safety and Counseling Center is being run by Urmul in Sriganganagar. Main services of Women's Safety and Counseling Center:To get the problem assessed and resolved in consultation with the aggrieved woman and other concerned persons.Getting FIR registered in the related case on the wish of the woman.To provide suitable help to women through the District Women's Help Committee.To cooperate in following the order passed by the court under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005. When a respondent disobeys the protection order passed by the court, taking action against the respondent is through the police.Refer to the concerned hospital for a medical or medical certificate.Providing free legal services through the District Legal Services Authority.To get admission in the notified shelter home. In case of non-availability of shelter home at the local level, arrange temporary but safe shelter in case of emergency.To arrange security for women with the help of police and protection officers in case of emergency and emergency.Maintain and take care of the confidentiality of the conversation with every female applicant coming to the Women's Safety and Counseling Center.Sriganganagar Centre: This centre is being operated in the police station premises of Sriganganagar city. From April 2015 to March 2016, a total of 185 women victims of domestic violence have been given advice, cooperation and guidance at this centre.Activities and meetings were organized in different areas of the district from April 2015 to March 2016 by the counsellors working in the Sriganganagar centre.
