Scope of the Project Bikaner District Railway Zone Financial Cooperation Child Line India Foundation Project Started December 2018Brief introduction of the project: Since December 01, 2018, Child Help Center-1098 is being operated at Bikaner Railway Station. Child Help Center 1098 is being operated in collaboration with the Railway Department at all the urban and rural railway stations of the district. Publicity at all railway stations is being done regularly and continuously by the team. Due to this awareness about this program has come among the people of the area.the main purpose: Helping by reaching out to the children in a short time on the information received from the victimized child and the public community. Separation of children travelling with their families in train from their families or smuggling of children by some person from one place to another by train. this kind ofHelping children from anti-social activities. Providing guidance and support and advice to the children involved in anti-social activities. Promotion of Childline toll-free service 1098. Identifying needy children for child protection and care and giving information to the departments. And to establish coordination with the departments working for the children. Getting children involved in child labor free. To help and rehabilitate the victims and children who are victims of exploitation. To get the needy children benefited by connecting them with the services run by the government. Immediate follow-up of every case registered.Details of registered cases: From the month of December 2018-March 2019, Railway Child Help Center, a total of 13 cases were registered, out of which 13 cases have been disposed of off, till March 2019 no case is left.Details of missing cases: From December 2018 to March 2019, 09 missing children were provided shelter by the Railway Child Help Center through the Child Welfare Committee. After tracing the relatives of the children, they were handed over to their relatives.
